I am runnig Ubuntu 12.10 and it still does not seem to work. It is minor as I prefer flac anyway, but even more annoying is that also the 'Genre' tag seems not to be read. Genre is 'Unknown' for all wma files, which causes quite a mess in the ordering. Just experienced this in Maverick. First rename seems to work then the second does not (doing it quickly after).
