It is still a minor nuisance (bug) in 10.4 that has not been fixed yet. I've
been keeping the desktop icons aligned until now. To tell you the truth
there is no need to reboot and if I log out of session and log back in the
desktop settings remain intact. So far I have not applied suggested
And will always be an issue as far
as they will be focused on unusefull things instead of crucial ones XD
