All of you seem to assume that breakage/regression must happen. I
don't think so.

Dear list,
I would like to publicly say *SORRY* to Mr. Ma, who have proceeded
with personal attack because of my leaking his unique but secret
vision to this particular issue.
Also I hope this is the last email on this list because of such
personal issue to avoid bothering everyone once again. Pr

I have to clarify something. The archive is too long for me. I haven't
read them all.
The Unity bug I mentioned doesn't integrate IBus. AFAIK, IBus actually
works not very well on Ubuntu 12.04 with Unity. The bug just eliminate
the possibility of using another input method framework.

Hi, all.
I subscribed this list for this thread. As yet another native Chinese
Linux user I'd say I support IBus integration.
When I saw Ubuntu Bug #983254, Unity's IBus "integration", I feel that
it was wrong and I spent some efforts to spread that bug in Chinese
use community.

down to two voices and this:
Gnome developers: we want tighter IM integration and simpler UI in the
name of better UX, and are looking at IBus as the underlying technology,
