On Unity, it also crashes, but I get the following error:

The difference in behaviour could be because Unity and Gnome Shell
differ in terms of how the menus
Correction. instead of commenting volume = merge, replace it with
volume = zero. This way the speaker volume is set to 0dB, which is

Week 38 - Same issue observed with Alt+Tab, switcher fails to appear. Workspace
1 Alt+tab switcher appears and in workspace 2 switcher fails to appear.

From my POV, the bug has not been fixed.
1. AIUI, it's still trying to connect to arbitrary connections (i.e.
BEER), instead of letting the user decide which connection to use.
2. The new error message, something like Insufficient privileges to
add/activate connection doesn't give the user any

I see that the fix was released almost three weeks ago, but have not yet
seen any update in my 12.04.1 LTS installation. Meanwhile the zombie
