On 12.10 I installed bumblebee in order to properly use Optimus (GTX 660M).

fix isn't included in the kernel.
When I use this boot parameter (on a Folio 13-2000) UPower recognizes
un/plugging of the ac adapter and the special keys (brightness +/- and

Manual catalyst installation done, no errors. When I have two screens
connected, everything works fine (even skype loads). However, when I
disconnect a screen and reboot, the desktop and all windows are highly
distorted and the mouse doesn't point where it seems to. I attached a

which also had no result.
I have not tried the patch in the upstream as I am not comfortable

new system 3 times, each time empathy has no idea I had ever entered my
account info. Once its up, its cool having all 5 accounts active... But
each time I shutdown and login the next day, it treats me like a new

inode/block errors reported by fsck but the root filesystem (/ is
mounted on /dev/sda2 in my case) fails the fsck check at boot.

which has a proper audio system connected.

Changing hostname doesn't update /etc/hosts

OK this only occurs when using the bold-button in the tool-bar. Using
Ctrl + b works fine in both directions. Though I have noticed using Ctrl
+ b makes the text much bolder then the tool-bar button does, is that a
feature? Anyway, the problem with bold text toggled through the button
persists, as
My solution is:
run synaptic,
delete all the libreoffice packages. (not the fonts or uno-related packages)
Go to libreoffice.org and download the latest.
Unpack it
% cd topdir/DEBS
% dpkg -i *.deb desktop*/*.deb
LibreOffice runs! ALT works! and, best of all, the menu bar is on the
window so that

To replicate:
1. Enable multiple desktops. I assume that you will also have the keyboard
shortcuts enabled. Ctrl+Alt+Shift+ Arrow Key will move a window to a desktop
in that direction; Ctrl+Alt+Arrow Key will move your current display to a
desktop in that direction.
2.
To open Nautilus' appmenu, you can press Alt+F10. But Ubuntu wants to
remove that menu and go back to Nautilus 3.4's traditional menus, that
can be opened with standard shortcuts _and_ can be operated via the HUD
(see bug report 1130722).
