Let's target xorg-server to start with. In addition to the logs from
xorg-server, please upload the logs contained in /var/log/lightdm.
Collecting the xorg-server logs should be as easy as running apport-
collect 1245474.

What happened: When I start the Xubuntu 13.10 i386 LiveCD I directly
land into the desktop of Xfce. If I log out and log back in by entering
username as xubuntu and leaving the password field blank at the login
screen, I get Bangla - Bangladesh as the user interface

This is not a logind issue - the greeter gets the session list from the
daemon. The daemon is removing the session from the list but the greeter
is not picking this up for some reason. The bug is either in liblightdm-
gobject or unity-greeter.

Gimp does not pick up plugins from configured plugin path

Hello Marc-Andre, or anyone else affected,
Accepted file-roller into saucy-proposed. The package will build now and
be available at http://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/file-
roller/3.10.1-0ubuntu1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed
repository.
Please help us by testing this new package.
