@Brian,
Well shoot, I can't think what would have caused that. There may be
useful info in /var/log/upstart/libvirt-bin.log or
/var/log/libvirt/libvirtd.log.

Eduard Grebe, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been
any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an
issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development
release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from

Public bug reported:
Update GNOME Terminal to 3.10.2 or 3.8 or anything newer than 3.6 :)
** Affects: gnome-terminal (Ubuntu)
Importance: Wishlist
Assignee: Iain Lane (laney)
Status: Triaged
** Tags: upgrade-software-version
** Bug watch added: GNOME Bug Tracker #697475
Iain was working on it in lp:~ubuntu-desktop/gnome-terminal/ubuntu and
was blocked on a bug where opening a new tab always opens in the home
directory rather than the current directory [1]. Note that Debian has
3.10 even though this behaviour has changed.
