I've been running 14.04 for a few days now and the cpu usage at idle
hovers between 22-45% ,about 95% with chromium open, 50% with nautilius,
90% WITH DASH for gods sake, 60% with compiz and about 85% with ubuntu
tweak running. And the lag was so horrible i had to disable almost all

It would be an excellent feature, of working. I am using 3 three
business machines and a laptop at different places and I would like to
synchronise the installations this way. In the moment i am doing this

When did this used to work?
I'm assuming you have the Brother proprietary drivers installed, can you
check the versions of the 'brscan', 'brscan2', 'brscan3' and 'brscan4'
packages?
Can you get a log containing the calls leading up to the loop (the attached log
is from a fresh start where no

Suggest a bigger bdl_pos_adj.
So the problem occurs after boot and eventually goes away? If so, you may need

In Ubuntu 13.10 when I unmount a usb stick in nautilus it ask me if I want to
empty the trash but it doesn't in Ubuntu 14.04.

I too received this error today. I was guilty of running two terminal
sessions a day or two ago and I am guilty of using gedit one time and
sudo gedit another time on the same file if permission is denied the
first time.
Ubuntu 14.04
14.04LTS, still there. Remmina and fullscreen is a mess. Don't even try
to use it over multiple monitors.
