If the radeon driver is the problem and the intel one works, then just
disabling the radeon hdmi card would be a better workaround, i e, in
your case:

You have been subscribed to a public bug:
The app should be able to cache downloaded tiles to be used in future
runs of the app.
In contrast to the download tile pack feature, that allows downloading a
region before going on holiday; this would provide faster viewing of
previously viewed areas
I'm worried that this bug report will be closed due to lack of activity.
There is already a simple solution for this. What needs doing to
implement it? (I'm not a programmer, otherwise I'd do it myself!)

I have ubuntu 14.04 LTS. The Main Menu help button is still visible in the
bottom left corner. When pressed gives a error message not a valid pointer.
Still can't move blender app from Other to Graphics.
thanks

GiaBao Phu Truong, I had this error I think this was due to the cairo-
dock. When I un-installed it everything was fine.

We, Japanese loco team, release the own remix.
It makes Fcitx by default as same as Ubuntu Kylin.
I think Japanese users prefer to use Fcitx.
So im-config's modification is not good for us

Pinging. Any progress? Doesn't seem like it'd be too hard to fix. I have
programming experience, but no experience contributing to open source.
If someone were to guide me to the relevent code and through the
process, I may be able to poke at it.
