The error message rounding interval to 128 microframes, ep desc says 255
microframes seems to be caused by the xhci driver that handles USB3.0 ports.

problem. Removing that (-R) and using instead lpadmin -p MX310-series
-o usb-no-reattach-default=true the symptoms are as before.

I had to format my machine.

Comment #8 seems out of context. Once booted there is no problem
plugging in and unplugging monitors, changing resolution and scan
frequencies. Additionally there is no problem suspending and resuming--
which is a good reason to never reboot unless resume fails or a boot

This error start occurring for me after the upgrade to xserver-xorg-
video-intel (2:2.99.914-1~exp1ubuntu2), but given the earlier occurence
this might just have been random. Seems to occur randomly while using
the desktop under load.

The fix may be a little more complicated.
I had to add an 'apmd' script.
(1.) Blacklist usbtouchscreen in the file: /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf
ie. add an entry to the end of the file blacklist usbtouchscreen
ie. sudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf
(2.) Create a file in

The fix may be a little more complicated.

for the apm script just use
