unchecked option Automatically connect to this network when available
for slow network, but NetworkManager keeps connecting to slow network

I was thinking the same, until yesterday evening, still got the same
crash while putting some youtube video fullscreen.
I'm wondering if that's not something to do with Chrome sending some GPU
data that the intel card doesn't like. Do you use chrome/chromium as
well?

Whenever a wireless connection is lost and the same network becomes
available again, the connection is not restored. Even selecting the
network again from the drop down menu does not work, it just tries to
connect forever. The only way out is to disable and re-enable wifi,
