I'm lucky enough to use english so installing xul-ext-lightning from the
ubuntu software center worked as post #12 calls the "correct" solution.
I did however have to remove the old lightning addon using the
thunderbird add-ons menu to get the new xul-ext-lightning one to show

The cursor is tiny on my hidpi screen when using the snap version of
inkscape. This is on Fedora 29/Wayland. It's the first snap I ever

I have a wireless mouse powered by non-rechargeable battery. The mouse
works absolutely fine even with low battery level. Problem is, Ubuntu
gives notifications about the battery level all the time.
I have had this issue for almost two months now, and mouse is working

The Thunderbird people don't provide current Lightning versions in their
AddOn repository anymore because they integrated Lightning in their
Thunderbird builds. It is a real shame that this localization issue
persists for nearly one decade now. Because of this shortcoming (missing
translations for
same here - on 16.04. the "internal" Lightning calendar disappearead
since it is not longer compatible with TB60.
Need to install the package "xul-ext-lightning" which I removed in the
past, because it provides only the english version.
