I'm not a perfectly sighted user, but I have decent eyesight. However,
on a 1080p ThinkPad screen, I have a hard time distinguishing which
button is the default in a dialog box. There is a 1px wide orange border
around the default button, bit it's not easy to notice, at all.
While the problem might be gone by the time we get to 6.3.0.0., for now
I can *confirm* that Olivier's observations. 3D-transitions do not work
for me, regardless if hardware acceleration and OpenGL are activated or
deactivated.

I would like to add that the bug occurs after swiping the notification screen
up.
The blank screen that usually shows with the password entry box shows but
without anything on it and the applications bar on the left is still showing.

It's also interesting that when I attach an external monitor to an
external mode in tent mode, the screen orientation changes to standard
mode and can therefore no longer be used in tent mode because everything

When I was running 16.04.0 with the same mods described in comment 3 and
with the same monitor BUT with an older computer, I never got this
problem.
When I installed 16.04.5 (new install, erasing everything) on a newer
computer BUT with the same monitor, I started getting this issue.

set the bios to discrete only, I get an HDMI signal. If I set the bios
option to hybrid, I can use prime-select to switch between intel and
nvidia but in both cases I cannot use HDMI anymore and in both cases

slightly different than what I had seen before in that I had one window
(Chrome) that wasn't black. All others were. The issue started when I
clicked to upload a file to a web page. The Chrome window went subdued,

Hi Sab, If "keep it on screen longer" means: "while previous key press
released, the OSD will keep on screen longer. Before it disappears,
press it one more will go next one, instead of before from the first
