Hi is there any update on the status of the indicator? I am still interested in fixing the bug. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-settings-daemon in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/887139 Title: Middle

I want to look into that. Where can I find the code for that? ** Changed in: gnome-settings-daemon (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) = Fabian Schmidt (hugo-rune) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-settings-daemon

Oh and is it really the settings-daemon that is affected or is that the indicator (or is the indicator part of the settings-daemon) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-settings-daemon in Ubuntu.

One workaround (this really doesn't deserve the name...) is to just open the disk space analyzer and keep it in the background. This mutes the messages. Would really be nice if this bug would be fixed asap, it's things like these that make Ubuntu less and less fun to use with every release. --
