I can confirm this on an up to date precise i386 running unity-2d
running in qemu-kvm on a precise host. If I start thunderbird (with it
not remembering a password). There seems to be a race condition.
Reproducer:
1. Setup an imap account with SSL self-signed certificate (may not be required,
but
/dev/.udev/data/** was fixed in 11.10, but /run/udev/data/** was not.
This is likely not going to be fixed since 11.10 is in maintenance mode
now.
== Workaround ==
Add to /etc/apparmor.d/local/usr.bin.evince:
deny /run/udev/data/** r,
Then perform:
$ sudo apparmor_parser -r /etc/apparmor.d/usr.bi
The security implication of using '/usr/bin/exo-open Ux' is that if
there is a flaw in evince, an attacker can execute anything via exo-
open. This is not the proper fix.

I might note that the existing contact and the new saved contact don't
have to be a perfect match. This was initially discovered when trying to
add a contact that was emailed to me that had more up to date
information than my existing contact.
