It's the VirtualBox Guest Additions that triggers this bug. With the latest VBoxGuestAdditions_6.1.32.iso and before. It's not the `sudo apt install build-essential dkms` that need to be run to install the Guest Additions. ** Summary changed: - login screen shown twice + login screen shown

When installed within VirtualBox with Guest Additions the first login prompt is sized 800x600 the second login prompt has dynamic screen resolution so is full screen. With "auto-login" for the user enabled the first 800x600 login prompt is skipped. So my guess is that the Guest Additions code
