The workaround *kinda* works. Here's how it did for me:
1. start ccsm
2. activate Ubuntu Unity Plugin - Switcher - Key to flip through the windows
in the switcher. You will find this option is deactivated. Binding it will not
unbind alt+circumflex right away
3. activate Application Switcher
Alt+Circumflex is used in Japanese IME for Windows to switch input mode.
Had IBUS in 10.04 configured to use the same keys for activating Anthy.
Having to relearn the keys has significant impact on productivity.
So please make the Unity keybinding configurable.

This is not calc-specific (it happens with writer etc. too), but
libreoffice is just a metapackage and I don't have it installed, so

Hey! I think I'm onto the root cause. If you do a simple google search

Current workaround:
in CompizConfig Settings Manager: Turn Window Rules off. Edit Decorate

Note that this will be a regression for folks doing LTS upgrades from

border on the bottom of the window.
I'd argue that --- for 2D desktops in Precise --- the default theme's
window borders should be fairly beefy for 2 reasons:
Question: Shouldn't this bug be against the light-themes package, not
