I am experiencing the same problem. Xubuntu 14.04, all updates until 02.04.2014. My system is a lenovo x200 with intel graphics. When I resume from suspend-to-ram, I get the password screen as expected, but at minimum screen brightness. This can be corrected with the screen brightness hotkeys.

With nvidia-325.15, I've had several reboots, cold boots and log-ins, and Akonadi started well every time. BTW, most of the random problems I mentioned in Comment 25 were caused by nvidia-331.20 too. Even Amarok didn't exit on quitting sometimes. Thank you, Fuchs! -- You received this bug
