Description
No menu is shown in applications when installed with snap. Startup of
libreoffice is extremely slow. When installing with "apt install libreoffice"
menus are shown and startup is very fast.

I also get this error in Ubuntu 14.04 when I try to view some jpg images
from http://www.vectorworldmap.com/ . The X crashes and start to not
respond when I try to open this with firefox or image viewer.

Try to remove/rename the nautilus settings folders in your home folder and
reboot (logout/login?).
This helped with me (Ubuntu 12.04)

I tried again and now it does not transmit from empathy using facebook
user to facebook.. receiving messages from facebook is fine.
