Click around on the launcher a few times, nothing gets launched, and

control Chromium button to the right of the URL text window.

I have just made an embarrassing discovery.
I replaced the mouse and solved the problem. Sure wish I had thought of
that earlier, it would have saved a lot of trouble.
It is very bizarre for a new mouse to intermittently send a double click
signal for a physical single click.

My machine with nVidia discrete graphics does exhibit the problem.

When I physically turn off a wireless router, the connection name
remains in the list of Wireless Networks long after. Repeated clicking

If I open the Microsoft sheet with OpenOffice, save as ods, then open
the ods file in LibreOffice, everything works fine.
But that defeats the point of using LibreOffice.
