I don't get this any more with 12.10 and the latest Pidgin in the
repository.
The workaround mentioned in #20 is well known but means you have a
redundant entry in the tray. Workaround, but not a fix.
Anyway, can't say I've noticed this in 12.10.

Observed this to happen with the Adobe Reader 9.4 plugin too (nppdf.so).
Only worse.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Open a pdf in a new tab
2) Adobe plugin renders pdf inside tab
3) open another tab
4) navigate to site (e.g. www.gmail.com)
5) interact with site (e.g. try to login)
Expected result:

Tried this in safe mode as intructed. Still has issues. Can rule out add
ons... well apart from Flash itself!
