Are you still affected by this bug? For me this chip has worked fine in
Maverick (Ubuntu 10.10) and every subsequent release. If it's the same
for you then I think we can close the bug. If you still have this

Touchscreen
Individual offers of $50 on a bug report are great, but we talked of
having a Kickstarter. I bet in the current climate we could raise
thousands.
Who is capable of taking a quarter million dollars, or 120k, or 50k,
or 10k, and doing this?
It happens for other crap. Why not for this awesome?
No. I talked about this with Martin today and we both agree that it's
not really worth it for supporting a deprecated API that we will remove
soon anyway.

versions of Firefox (= precise), so I think this is Fix Released on the
firefox side. I can't speak to how that affects Baltix.

I'm still affected by this. My test case is Ubuntu 12.04.2, 32-bit,
fully up to date as of this morning. As I write this my version of
firefox is 22.0+build2-0ubuntu.12.04.1 and my version of acroread is
9.5.5-1precise1.
When I start Firefox and open a PDF in a tab, Firefox spawns a plugin-
