gedit hangs when opening files padded with null
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. The issue you are reporting is an upstream one and it
would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug to the developers
of the software by following the instructions at

Confirming issue by opening sample file in gedit 3.30.2-1 in Ubuntu
19.04 (dev). For the record sample file opened successfully in Sublime
Text, nano and vim. Issue needs to be reported upstream.
