Problem still exists on brand new amd64 raring. Live boot of .iso any resolutions higher than 1152 the systems settings displays only allows counterclockwise and clockwise. There is no option for normal shown. After install, same thing. The systems settings gui does not have normal option for

What I did was install raring amd64 iso with defaults as it is in daily build. I didn't do any changes, just installed, booted, then brought up displays to set the correct resolution for the monitor which is 1600x900, wide, with all text running horizontal wide. raring i386 iso install is fine.
