Could you open a terminal and run scanimage --list-devices? Simple
scan is reporting that SANE says there are no scanners connected.

The file ~/.cache/simple-scan/simple-scan.log is attached to the bug
report and shows you trying to scan three times after simple scan failed
to find any devices. I suspect scanimage --list-devices will show the
same thing.
Please have a look at this log after trying different things, you can

the scanner), then xscanimage (worked perfectly, only I put the paper
