My thought: Simply change it to help:gnome-help. I don't think we should count on a Unity docs team. One temporary solution for 17.10 and 18.04 might be to upload the 17.04 docs (which is the best we have) to a version neutral Unity folder at help.ubuntu.com, and provide a link to that index
