Hi,
I just want to confirm that this bug is still present in Ubuntu 13.04 with
Gnibbles 3.8.0.
I will play the game for a bit and see if I can work out any patterns.

I get the same problem, as well as my computer crashing after a while
(usually after an invisible wall pops up)
