I have the same issue with brasero not ejecting CD's or DVD's after burning; other apps will eject (e.g. Ruby Ripper). With no CD or DVD inserted, my CD/DVD drive as listed from 'sudo lshw | less' is: *-cdrom description: DVD-RAM writer product: CDDVDW SN-208AB
