Is the duplicate correct? It doesn't mention printing or evince.

I've been on 12.04 for over a year, and have had no previous problem.
Suddenly, I am not able to print pdfs from Evince. It was not a recent
upgrade for me.

I found MY problem: I had configured the print dialogue settings for
label printing on our label printer. Somehow that setting ended up on my
regular printer. I'm not sure if the setting carried over to the other
printer, or if I had accidentally set another printer to my custom label
printer
I had to switch to a non-cups driver as a workaround.

Ok, that only worked for a few printings, then it stopped working again
with the non-cups drivers.

I am also experiencing it just recently. Have been using Ubuntu since
9.04. It works fine. With Ubuntu 12.10 and 13.04 first it takes quite
some time for Document View to show up. Most unwanted, is that it won't
print more than 1 pages. Print one page, fine. Print a file with more
than one page,
I am now forced to print second page and other using one by one opening
with GIMP, which is not good.

I am unable to print PDFs. It does not seem to be a generalized problem,
because I can print just fine from other file types. My supervisor also
runs Ubuntu, and uses the same printer from his laptop, but does not
seem to have any problem printing PDFs.

Since my upgrade to Ubuntu 12.04 .pdf files printed with evince cause my

printing.

printer is directly connected to PC by USB and in fact I do not have a
home network set up at this time - I did once upon a time and I was able
to print to the same printer connected to a different (Windows) PC, then
moved it directly to this one and it still worked fine, now it works
with all

Thank you for using Ubuntu and filing a bug. Are you trying to print by
using 'Print Preview' first or by simply using 'Print'? There is a known
bug with using 'Print Preview' (bug #994243).

Just tried it again as I was not certain whether I had tried preview or
not. Also used a different .pdf file than previously. Did not select
print preview, just went straight to print, the document is in my print
queue with status of stopped.
More information that may be useful: the document
I also tried printing a .pdf that I know I had printed previously (it
was one that I generated myself from OpenOffice.org and had posted on my
website back when I had one) and saw the same behavior so it seems
pretty likely that it is not a problem with the files.

Ok, this should not be apparmor then. I'm not sure what it is, but I
have seen this happen when my network printer accessed via local CUPS
got disabled, which can sometimes happen when printing to a printer that
cannot be seen on the network. I suggest open the Printers dialog, right
clicking on
