When the remote windows machine had done an update, it had rebooted. Now
remote logging in from ubuntu, there was an EN to EN mapping, some of the
keys worked as expected but not the ÅÖÄ types. But remote logging when the
windows is already up and running causes more keys to
To reproduce, try to load an external drive with plenty of stuff. I had
the error with around 130 GB stuff each of the sizes 13 - 15 GB. Put the
stuff in the Rubbish Bin and ask to delete it. Go to a folder in the
external drive and look in the bottom, where the free space is show in
figures.

Reopen. Three times in the last two days apport complains about the need to
install missing packages, well again, the reason for calling update-manager was
in fact to install updates.
After calling update-manager, it says there is a 'problem with a system

When KDE or gnome apps get installed,
I'm now getting this error for the second time. I don't know what
triggers it, and I quit Empathy so I don't have a screenshot available.
But it is an especially annoying error because, once it pops up, it
persists even when I log out and log back in, or shut down and start
back up.

It's also the fact that 'User Interface' is meaningless to most people
non technical. I'm not so concerned about the positioning of it as
people can find it if it has a sensible name (although you're right, the
beginning is better) but with a name like User Interface they're likely
to avoid it.
