I needed to set network manager to avoid managing a given wireless
interface, so that I can set it up with static IP + dhcpd + hostapd.
When I disable Wireless the phy rfkill associated to it gets
"softblocked" on boot, so I need to manually "rfkill unblock phy" and
ifup,
I just discovered a much better work-around than logout-login:
1. Resume from a long-term suspend. Note the disappeared mouse cursor.
2. Ctrl-Alt-F1 ===> getty
3. Ctrl-Alt-F7 ===> back to desktop
My mouse cursor is restored after step 3.

launched one after the other in the startup list, you can't just write:

You have to explicitly call bash -c like this:

umh, maybe I'm really bad at expressing myself (could really well be), but I

Hi Sebastien,
When we enabled OEM products with HiDPI display, the "let's wait before
xsettings settle down" hack was applied [1], so the unity-greeter is
actually scaled to the right resolution, hence this issue.
So it would be great if this fix can be put into Trusty.
