I can confirm that Luke's PPA works with my Jaybird X2 on Kunbutu
Xenial.
A2DP was not selected by default upon connection, but it is possible to
select it manually in the hardware panel in Phonon (Using kde here), and
it works like a charm.

I have 2 external displays on my Macbook at work. Now i'm at home and
just use the internal display.
There i just had this issue once. When i click again on the drop down,
the options are shown.
I will check tomorrow with external displays and disabled hardware

Looks like I was wrong! GNOME Screenshot worked fine. Attached are both
the full-resolution unedited screenshot, and a screenshot with several
of the exact same icons overlaid pixel-doubled properly as an example of

Sadly no, we switched to Unity for new deployments due to other issues.
I currently do not run Gnome anymore on Ubuntu 16.04 :( But from looking
at the diff, the patch should be okay -- when I tried it I actually
symlinked it to see if it actually fixes it.
