I'm having the same problem with Samsung M2070 scanner, but thanks to
the information here I was able to patch it working. I linked the files
located in /usr/lib/sane (copied there likely by the samsung driver
installer) to /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/sane and now the scan works both
over the usb

Yes it was fixed with new driver from Canon. I upgraded to 18.04 and
one cups driver started printing black pages again. I just installed
the new driver from Canon on 18.04 with the all the updates installed
and it not printing black pages on PDF pages now. Not sure if the cups

I seems that HSP/HFP doesn't work at all on 18.04. I've tried a variety

It is no more a problem because the printer is out of order and I use a HP
Color Laserjet MFP M477fdw now. And I also use Ubuntu 18.04 instead of 12.04.

I tried every combination in HDAjackretask, tried all pins, all
different kind of combinations with the pins. I even wrote down on paper
all the possible combinations for my 3 output pins, 0x14, 0x17 and 0x1b,
none of them solved this. They all just bring more sound settings up,
but none of them

I have the same issue on 16.04. Using Online Accounts to add my Google
account does give me my Drive files. But the calendar is not listed
(options only for files & photos). The Gnome Calendar is empty.
Thunderbird + Lightening + Google Intergration does give calendar access
in Thunderbird.
