Looks like the problem is that Yaru uses an external border (outside the
white area) while GNOME default uses an internal border. So different
rendering paths.
While a fix could potentially be implemented in Yaru, a proper fix would
still be the responsibility of gnome-shell.

This seems to be a bigger bug and applies to software-properties-qt and
perhaps pkexec. As it turns out, one cannot launch "sofware-properties-
qt" from within plasma-discover either. Even though it calls pkexec to
launch it, it fails every time even if the user is a system admin.

Now that wpasupplicant 2.10 is more widely available, I've seen this issue
popping up at several places. I'm not sure if it's only related to FRITZ!Boxes
but those alone are extremely popular in Germany, so I would have hated if the
next LTS potentially breaks

The autopkgtest regressions blocking systemd 248.3-1ubuntu8.5 in impish-
proposed have been resolved. The regressions were caused either by (1)
network/infrastructure issues and succeeded on retry, or by (2)
unrelated snapd regressions. The systemd 248.3-1ubuntu8.5 upload added
an autopkgtest

Thanks for reporting. I have a Logitech C270 camera, and I am also
affected.
Attached is what I see, I get green and purple bars, and overall
terrible performance.
I am on Jammy 5.15.0-25-generic, Wayland session, gnome 42, cheese
41.1-1build1.
I will start investigating.

I downgraded cheese from 41.1-1build1 to 3.38.0-4 and it works fine
again. Seems to be a cheese 41 problem.
GST_V4L2_USE_LIBV4L2=1 gst-launch-1.0 v4l2src ! xvimagesink
works fine, as well as using the webcam in Google Meet with Firefox.

When hotplugging an external monitor, I am sent immediately to the login screen.
Actions:
Boot my laptop either with or without the external plugged in and then
log in to my user account. If the monitor is not plugged in, plug it in.
Expected result:

I have been using Ubuntu 22.04 for several months, initially Ubuntu on wayland
was working but at some point Ubuntu on wayland stopped working (It doesn't
even show up as an option on the gdm3 login screen). I am mentioning this to
preemptively say that:
