I am glad that fix worked, the smallest things seem to annoy me. It does
however give me the error sometimes on synaptics package manager, but

after trying to upgrade to libreoffice 3.5 I got an error message that
said "cannot delete directory /usr/lib/libreoffice/basis3.4 as it is not
empty", and I could not get the install to proceed.
To fix this issue I had to manually remove all of the files in basis3.4
as well

the browser screen, Firefox stops, and also my computer locks up. Then I
