I ran hp-setup without sudo. It asked me to enter my login password most
likely to get sudo rigths anyway. On subsequent restart my
~/.gnupg/pubring.gpg and also backup ~/.gnupg/pubring.gpg~ were owned by
root. Chown to my user restored the functionality back.

evince:

replacing default 20 and 10.

Also, writing back the default values to the /proc/sys/vm/... files
doesn't fix the problem — so far only reboot with avoiding writing bad
values helped.

It's not only Android devices having a problem mounting MTP devices in

The following has worked for me on Ubuntu 14.04 x64 running on an intel
based motherboard (Core i3 2nd gen) with Realtek onboard ethernet
