enable only 0501 and 0502, and move some code required by 0502 from 0506
and build pulse, enabling 0502 causes Pulse to assert as previously
logged. Am in the process of digging through that patch to work out how
it changes things
If gdm runs with user permissions how does/should Gnome Shell get access
to /dev/dri/* etc?
I assume it's not broken for everyone...

just made an observation, it happens when I use my middle finger to move
the mouse and click with index finger. Sometimes the double touch of
middle/index finger is interpreted as mouse move, the jump is more or
less the same distance as if i had moved the index to the middle finger
position .

I managed to reproduce it once trying to move from the on-laptop miniDP
connector to the dock's full-size DP connector -- then I had a black
background (well, no backgound) and the window trails.
It looks to me like an issue in compiz, but it might really be X. In

Not sure if it matters, but this laptop has an SSD and Nvidia M1000M
graphics.

I have the same problem, I'm able to get NM connect to the wifi network
by running either of "sudo wpa_cli scan" and "sudo iwlist
scan". With respect to what happens on my computer, the behavior is the
same described in bug 1585863.

timeanddate calendar shows events
You can disable (hide the calendar from app and indicator) calendars on
calendar-app settings pages. Just uncheck the calendar that you are not
interested.
