Could you check the hplip version
dpkg -l | grep hplip
uninstall the default hplip package which come default with distro.
sudo apt-get remove
Then do fresh install of hplip-3.19.3 and install plugin manually using
sh for the same hplip version.

i startet dconf editor and resetted everything in
org/gnome/calendar/weather-settings.
Now calendar is starting again. There was something with this weather

okay I have another solution to the timing issue .. add two partition
mounts to fstab ..
my existing sda1 disco install has /home (sda2) and /home/store1 (sda5)
mounted via fstab .. this was the original install configuration .. thus
always a mount delay ..
to test .. added the same partions

When the leak gets bad for you, does gnome-shell log much? If so then
what does it say?
journalctl -f /usr/bin/gnome-shell
I suspect I'm running into a second big leak in my investigations but
that one is only accompanied by certain log messages.

Firefox stopped showing the download dialog window for some reason. Fresh new
Firefox (with no addons/themes/profiles/etc.) still don't show it up. Other
apps show it, Chromium for example has no issues.
If i do, for example, CTRL+S it should open the box to let me save the
@Colin, can you add your journalctl log after getting the issue? I can't
reproduce on any machine :-/
