While any Libre office app is open on my PC, blank, white rectangles
appear on my screen. I believe they are related to add-ons as I've had
those come up correctly a few times when opening multiple Libre apps and
they are the same exact size. These boxes are un-movable,
I'm on Kubuntu and it was also affected by this issue after installing
the latest updates although for me it was Super+Arrow keys that change
VT (rather than Alt+KEY as described in the issue). As mentioned,
running: `sudo kbd_mode -s` resolved it.

I have an i7-8750h paired with a gtx 1050ti in a Dell G515.
I don't exactly what I did, but I can give a general idea:
I decided this morning that battery life was important to me, so I
tinkered around with TLP. After I did that
I never liked Ubuntu trying/forcing snaps, but for 19.04 I gave up and
tried to embrace it. It is very hard to know when to use gnome-software,
when to use apt, when to use snap. Before snaps, I was always able to
find every app via apt/aptitude, but now, this is very frustrating.
IMHO, if Ubuntu

Confirming that the bug still happens on 19.04. I'm using network-
manager-vpnc-gnome which has this issue. However, nm-applet does work.

As soon as I set my display to scaled (any percentage) via Settings ->
Displays -> Scale, the background image disappears and become all white.
When I choose a different background image via Settings -> Background
initially nothing happens. As soon as I switch back to 100%
Problem is resolved in settings -> search -> 'gear' -> Other 'tab' ->
select all shortcut locations.
