Same here, I have a Lenovo X13 Gen1 notebook with an AMD 4750U Ryzen
processor. The integrated sound chip works without problem, but when
using the sound card in the Lenovo USB dock, the problem appears.

I also use a HyperX USB-Audio headset with my Ubuntu 21.10, and recently
noticed random pops and cracks in the audio output.

Install Focal on Dell notebook Precision 7750 (202004-27817). Enable
focal-proposed channel, install nvidia with "sudo ubuntu-drivers install
nvidia" then reboot system. Check system is in on-demand with "prime-
select query". Check nvidia module parameter with "cat
/proc/driver/nvidia/params |
If you don't like to wait for the patch to be applied, here is what you
can do (for focal):
1. mkdir xorg-server && cd xorg-server
2. git clone -b applied/ubuntu/focal-security

Cause the 5.15.0-23-generic couldn't support it, I used 5.17 mainline
kernel.
