@Dan Bolser: Gnome Terminal uses only Ctrl+Alt+* shortcuts, so Ctrl+F/B
should work normally, and menu presence should not matter. If any Gnome
Terminal shortcuts conflict with bash/mc/… ones, please file a separate

You are right of course, this change should be reverted for quantal. For
quantal+1, the gsettings schema should be moved to a more "neutral"
package (like libunity9 itself).

Ignore that, I can reproduce this bug on up-to-date quantal with Unity.
The control-center correctly sets the theme in gsettings, but it seems
that Compiz is still looking for gconf value
(/apps/metacity/general/theme), and changing it makes compiz change the
theme.

For GNOME Flashback, this is fixed in version 3.37.1, available in
Ubuntu development release (Groovy).
It cannot be backported to 20.04 (Focal) because it needs changes in
Nautilus that are only available in Nautilus 3.37.1.1.
I guess a fix for gnome-shell-extension-desktop-icons in 20.04 will b

Well, for moving files to trash it uses
org.gnome.Nautilus.FileOperations D-Bus interface, see dbusUtils.js. So
it should either implement the deletion itself, or use the new D-Bus
interface added in Nautilus 3.37.x.

So you have indicator-applet-appmenu present in your panel.
Hold Alt key, right-click on the menubar in the panel, select “Remove
>From Panel” (Usuń z panelu).
Then the menu should be back in the application. If it’s not, then
restarting the application may help.
