/run/resolvconf/resolv.conf only had the comment, but no actual
contents.
He has a static IP/DNS etc. configured in NetworkManager (no DHCP at
all). Before resolvconf, NM wrote a correct /etc/resolv.conf

I started trying this on current quantal, which uses the latest gvfs and
udisks2. I can reproduce the device is busy race condition with the
attached script sometimes (that race condition is rather hard to catch
on my system). However, I never get the loop device to automount, the

Sorry folks, for introducing another factor - but I am austrian and we
have something similar to Amazon - http://www.thalia.at - when adding
amazon you should - of course depending on my location, on my mother
tongue and interests add more 3rd party search results. Of course Google
should be
report a bug against Gnome-Shell rather than Lightdm? If it
really is Gnome-shell that cause this bug, it would be nice from Lightdm
to display a message informing that the window manager crashed, so that
we can report a bug directly against it ;-)

I forgot that precise/postgresql-8.4 also needs to be updated. I cannot
add a precise task here any more,and the upgrade bug was filed in bug
1058218, so let's track that part there then.

For unknown reason, nautilus has not been installed after update to
12.10. apt-cache search had a c nautilus line. After installing
nautilus, opening folders works as expected.
