Had the same problem in 12.04 LTS.
Initially opening the preferences of latex-pluging worked well.
The problem occured first after trying to add new tools in the latex-plugin
settings. I could not add anything so I tried to add the toolchain as a

I just ran into this problem, I think. Except in my case, other
launchers would take ownership of the main Firefox profile window. My
problem was solved by adding the following line to
usr/share/applications/firefox.desktop. All my other custom firefox
profile launchers already contained this

newly created /media/$user. What is the file system type of the
partition that contains /media for you? If you are unsure, do udisksctl
