In fact evince doesn't seem to have the problem under Ubuntu 13.04 (I've
upgraded some days ago).
The HP 8500 Pro worked fine under Ubuntu (as well 12.10) but it broke

Wanted to answer an email and attach something. This didn't work. After
clicking on "add atachment" ("Anlage hinzufügen" in german) an empty
window opened (will add a screenshot to clarify what I mean).
As well it wasn't possible to drag and drop the file via the unity
