[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1112773] Re: HP LJ 1010 doesn't print some images with default settings
Can confirm, hpijs driver works -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to hplip in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1112773 Title: HP LJ 1010 doesn't print some images with default settings Status in HPLIP: New Status in hplip package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Status in cups package in ALT Linux: Unknown Bug description: When printing the attached image on an HP LJ 1010 attached to Ubuntu 12.04 system, only a stripe of few cm at the top is printed. At the same time, "simpler" things (like a random Wikipedia page) are printed fine. I simply plugged the USB cable from the printer into my Toshiba AC100 (ARM) with Ubuntu 12.04. It was configured automatically. Here's the head of /etc/cups/ppd/hp-LaserJet-1010.ppd in my system (Obviously, it's an "hpcups" driver. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 1838008] Re: [snap] cursor theme isn't respected
Confirm, this and #1833611 are both fixed for me (Kubuntu 19.10, Breeze) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to chromium-browser in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1838008 Title: [snap] cursor theme isn't respected Status in chromium-browser package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: (initially reported at https://discourse.ubuntu.com/t/call-for- testing-chromium-browser-deb-to-snap-transition/11179/85) When changing the cursor theme with gnome-tweaks, I can observe that some themes aren't respected in the chromium snap. This appears to be specific to chromium, other snaps like evince or gimp use the correct cursors. Yaru and Adwaita are fine, but Redglass or Whiteglass aren't. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 1075923] Re: nautilus hangs copying large directories from a samba share
Confirm. Now using Dolphin file manager as it seems to not be affected by this problem. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gvfs in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1075923 Title: nautilus hangs copying large directories from a samba share Status in “gvfs” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: I have a large directory, almost 50Gb and 45.000 files shared by samba on ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS server. I used to copy the whole directory regularly on my desktop, and execute a backup with deja dup on that. I did also often backup directly from the samba share. After upgrading my client to 12.10, copying the directory hangs randomly, sometimes after having copied just 1 Gb, others having almost completed the whole transfer. It just hangs, without any crash. I noted the also Deja -dup shows the same behaviour, now it's impossible to complete a backup from the share, it just hangs. It seems to me that a bug in the samba client might be the cause of these issues, since neither nautilus nor Deja-dup have problems with local large directories. my system: Ubuntu 12.10 AMD64 nautilus: 1:3.5.90.really.3.4.2-0ubuntu4 deja-dup: deja-dup 24.0-0ubuntu1 smbclient 2:3.6.6-3ubuntu5 samba-common: 2:3.6.6-3ubuntu5 samba-common-bin: 2:3.6.6-3ubuntu5 ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.10 Package: nautilus 1:3.5.90.really.3.4.2-0ubuntu4 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.5.0-18.29-generic 3.5.7 Uname: Linux 3.5.0-18-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.6.1-0ubuntu6 Architecture: amd64 Date: Wed Nov 7 12:05:58 2012 GsettingsChanges: b'org.gnome.nautilus.window-state' b'geometry' b'825x550+853+471' InstallationDate: Installed on 2012-10-22 (16 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal - Release amd64 (20121017.5) MarkForUpload: True SourcePackage: nautilus UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gvfs/+bug/1075923/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

Here is my debugger log (disabled all other accounts, added empathy- debugger to autorun, then rebooted, so hopefully it is full and clean at the same time). ** Attachment added: Empathy debugger log https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/empathy/+bug/1071920/+attachment/3428331/+files/All-09-11-12_04-30-47.log -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to empathy in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1071920 Title: When setting the account to use a password to auto-identify with the IRC server, empathy prevents the account from signing in.
