If you try to copy a file named a:b.m4b using the nautilus file manager
to a USB-connected Android phone in MTP mode, the desktop will freeze
until you disconnect the USB cable. Then you'll get an error from
nautilus:

On Ubuntu 18.04, thunderbird 102.2.2+build1-0ubuntu0.18.04.1 just does
nothing on startup. In the status line, you can read the name of one of
the mail accounts and that it is checking for server functionality.

On startup, even with safe-mode, thunderbird hangs before you can click
anything, you get the pop-up "Thunderbird does not answer" with the options
exit and wait. I have two IMAP accounts and 10 calendars configured.
This is on Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS with thunderbird
This should have been a show-stopper for Firefox Snap.

I'm using deja-dup for backup of my home directory. I don't have sudo
permissions on the machine. I have only my home in backup and all files are
owned by me. Still I always get this message:

I think it got slower over time even under the Wayland session. I have
clocked the latest unlock time at 2.5 seconds, still rather slow.
