I made comment #149 to bug 1098334: I had found a web page that showed the
problem clearly.
Now I have tried trusty-desktop-i386.iso from Jan 8 and that page and some
other pages and a few expiriments with command windows showed no corruptions,
at least that I could see. So hopefully the bug
No thanks, I can live with some scrambled characters. But I do not understand
why it was disconnected from 1098334.
To set status to Invalid feels as if I should not disturb in the future. It is
is a bug that was solved by 1098334 if I understand it correctly. But you may
do whatever you have
I just noticed that when I visit the web page
http://www.thomann.de/se/thomann_dp25.htm and play a music sample
from that page something happens with the text on the screen. Characters are
distorted and back synchronized with the music.
The error pops around on the screen seemingly in random.

I have noticed that sometimes a character is scrambled on the display.
When I select a string including the distorted character it is displayed
correctly. Two photos shall be added to this report to illustrate the
phenomenon.
