Unfortunately, I'm not using Ubuntu now anymore, preferring more
lightweight (and less user-friendly?) desktop environments. So, I don't
have a way to check the behaviour correctly. In XFCE, the “Dropped
Text.txt” file is created, as expected.

its gray image stays after cancelling the operation. I don't see a way
of removing it but killing nautilus' process.

My VPN connection fails every several minutes. Due to the fact, I cannot
check properly whether the bug has been already reported. System Log
(see attachment) shows likely problems with network-manager
(0.9.8.0-0ubuntu22).

In my case, both screen and keyboard freeze completely (even SysRq don't work).
Once I left my PC frozen for an hour, and no avail.
Once it happened while watching video. Sound was looped; some a half of a
second was being repeated. Then in several minutes it stopped.
