I updated libusb-0.1.so.4 to libusb-dev in ubuntu 18.04 LTS and the
error was gone.
BTW: i am astonished how such an error can remain so long in the
operating system :-(

with the last update in Ubuntu 12.04 to version 0.9.4.0-0ubuntu4.1 of
network-manager, i can not access the settings of a wireless network.
The list of avialabel networks is populated, if i choose a network the
field Network Name stays empty.
So i can not connect to any

banshee freezes after playing some titles or crashes right after start.
My suspense is (for my machine) this bug happens if i try to access a
file, which is deleted on disk - but not in the media lib of banshee.
