I am trying to print a file from Ubuntu 20.04 (64-bit) using printer
Canon LBP2900 with its official driver named 'Canon LBP2900 CAPT
ver.1.5'. When a printing job is assigned to it, it keeps on showing
either 'Processing' or 'Pending' and does not print anything.
NOTE: I have already installed the following 64-bit drivers (.deb) using Ubuntu
Software:
1) cndrvcups-common_3.21-1_amd64.deb
2) cndrvcups-capt_2.71-1_amd64.deb

hovers between 22-45% ,about 95% with chromium open, 50% with nautilius,

@Jan: I can confirm that. My laptop's still running lucid and i noticed
it first in maverick when i tried it for a short time. my machine has
the nvidia mcp51 chipset. however i am not sure if the problem affects
nvidia chipsets alone, ive seen some people with intel machines also
encountering
if it is a driver issue, is there anyway we can roll back to the driver
version in lucid?
